Introduction: Earthing is the process of connecting the non-current carrying metal parts of an equipment and current carrying part of an electrical system to the earth. IS3043:2018 Code of Practice for Earthing suggests that the terms “Earthing” and “Grounding” are synonyms to each other and both are the same.
